The average age of residents at this skilled nursing facility is about 70. Linn Health and Rehabilitation was really good. They worked with the residents and were really good with my husband. They got him where he was doing therapy every day, five days a week. The facilities were also good, and the staff was very friendly and very nice.
Assisted living averages $4,950 per month and offers accommodation, meal service and other support. My father was not cared for at Hattie Ide Chaffee Home. He was very often dirty, and his clothes were not clean. He was not shaved, and he was left in isolation for long periods of time.

The food is excellent, and the rehab is good. Star ratings are often best used for basic comparisons and when deciding which facilities to visit. However, nothing beats actually visiting the nursing home yourself when possible. Our only regret is we did not find this facility earlier and that we cannot give her or the facility more than 5 stars. Staffing hours per resident is the total number of hours worked by the staff divided by the total number of residents. It doesn't necessarily show the number of nursing staff present at any given time or the amount of care given to any one resident. It's a little bit old, it's aged, and also we live in an older part of the country. But as soon as you get beyond that original entrance, it's like boom, it opens up into a very modern place. From what I've seen, the activities are good, but my mom hasn't really participated.
I think if they had more staff, they could handle things much better. We have the best activities though, I have to say that. They do a fantastic job at keeping everyone busy.
He had a two of thevtherapist who were pleasant .You can see how much they loved their job by the worked with my father. As for the otherbthwrapist my father nor I knew their names due to not much interaction with him..Homecare was provided for us at home. About equipment that would have been helpful for home . Example of one but a few more thatbhimecate hadvto order. I qould1 nevwr go back to this building again. I have worked here per diem as an agency nurse.

The facility is small, clean, and organized. The staff are pleasant to each other and families. The facility provides a nontoxic work environment to staff and the clear focus is patient care. I don’t say this lightly and I wouldn’t say it about most of the facilities in MA/RI.
